Here’s a look at some of the sports card releases you an expect to hit the market in the coming days.

2025 Topps Update Baseball
The annual end of the flagship trilogy arrives with 2025 Topps Update, which chronicles player movements prior to and during part of the 2025 season and continues the style and themes that were part of Series 1 and 2. The base set is 350 cards.
Hobby, Jumbo, blaster and Super boxes are being produced. Hobby boxes hold 20 packs of 12 cards each; Jumbos have ten packs with 40 cards in each and blaster boxes contain seven packs with 12 cards per.
Topps still had Hobby boxes available as of Wednesday afternoon here. Otherwise, you can check box prices on eBay here.
2025 Panini Phoenix Football
There haven’t been a lot of NFL releases so far this season but this annual release is back with 12 packs per five-card pack.
Each box contains one rookie memorabilia auto plus one additional auto, a relic card, 12 parallels and six inserts. You’ll get at least a dozen rookie cards in a box.
Color Blast inserts can be found here along with colorful Genie cards.
Boxes are available online for around $340.
2025 Topps Pro Debut
Pro Debut features emerging Minor League Baseball (MiLB) prospects with a few nods to players who were once minor leaguers but went on to have big league careers.
There’s a 200-card base set that captures players from various MiLB levels.
Each Hobby Jumbo box contains 6 packs with 24 cards per pack, delivering an average of 4 autographs per box, including sought-after Chrome Variations and X-Fractor parallels.
A key addition this year is the introduction of MiLB ‘Logoman’ autograph relic cards, which feature authentic MiLB logos.

2025-26 Upper Deck Black Diamond Hockey
Black Diamond is the season’s first high-end trading card release, featuring a 95-card base set that includes top veterans, legends, and rookies, with an emphasis on diamond-embedded relics and premium parallels.
Each Hobby box contains 1 pack with 6 cards, providing on average 1 autograph or diamond relic card, 1 numbered base set or parallel card, 1 Exquisite Collection card, and additional inserts or tech cards. Notable highlights include the Diamond Stars, Diamond Legends, and Diamond Futures inserts, each limited to /10 with ultra-rare 1/1 Pure Black parallels.
Boxes are currently running just under $300.
2025 Panini National Treasures Baseball
Panini’s high-end baseball release offers a single pack with 10 cards, delivering an average of 8 autographs or memorabilia cards per box.
Key additions this year include new Bat Knob Signatures and Bat Name Signatures, which incorporate unique bat relics into autographed cards.
Beyond the core offerings, the set features standout inserts like Colossal Material Autographs and Treasured Materials Signatures, which highlight oversized patches and multi-relic designs. Collectors can also chase rare parallels, jumbo patch autographs, and on-card signatures from former greats.
There’s a 1st Off the Line option with exclusive content but standard Hobby boxes can be had for $775 on eBay.
