The NCAA Tournament kept some folks at home over the weekend, but collectors got out to card shows early to make it back in time to catch most of the action. Safe to say the turnout at the Northeast Sports Card Expo at the Marriott in Quincy, MA, was pretty good. Promoters say close to 4,000 people attended the show over its two-day run. One of the three PSA 10 1973 Topps Willie Mays cards sold for $79,200 Wednesday night in Goldin's Vintage Elite Auction. The price obliterated the previous high mark of $18,260 set in April of 2019. The card is Mays' last regular issue as a player and pictures him as a New York Met.
