2025 Topps Update Series Baseball, the culminating release of the flagship Topps Baseball trilogy, will make its return on Nov. 12.
A fixture in one form or another since 1981, Update follows Series 1 and 2 that were released earlier this year.
Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong is on this year’s packaging.
The 350-card base set of 2025 Update features rookies who made their debut in the first part of the season, players traded to new teams depicted in updated uniforms, All-Star Game participants, and those achieving significant milestones.
A checklist is expected to be released during the pre-sale, but you can expect Update to be similar to previous releases.
The base set is complemented by an extensive array of parallels available across Hobby, Retail, and SKU-exclusive formats.
Inserts and Special Features
The 2025 Topps Update Series will offer a range of insert sets, including the rare Home Field Advantage cards that pair a player with landmarks from his home city. Others will include:
- Topps Black Gold
- First Pitch
- Bleacher Reachers
- Night Terrors
- Most Valuable
Each insert set features a full foil rainbow, ranging from limited Pink parallels to 1-of-1 Foilfractors.
Golden Mirror Autographs make their debut in Update, with players signing in gold ink.
The 2025 All-Star Game is a focal point, with dedicated inserts, relics, and autographs. Collectors can find All-Star Stitches relic cards, All-Star Stitch Autographs, and a full foil rainbow of All-Star inserts, celebrating the game’s top talent.
Additionally, the set includes 35th anniversary 1990 Topps Baseball cards and autographs, paying homage to the iconic 1990 design.
Keegan Hall art cards and Holiday-themed parallels in Value Box formats further diversify the offerings.
Hobby Boxes guarantee one autograph or relic per box, with 20 packs included. HTA Jumbo Boxes deliver three hits per box, including at least one autograph.
Hobby, Jumbo, blaster and Super boxes are being produced. You can check box prices here.
