Topps is producing an exclusive Topps Chrome Baseball box for the upcoming Fanatics Fest in New York.
The boxes will include “Big Apple Refractors” cards, with the print run for each card limited to less than 50. The background of each card features the city skyline.

The product will be sold in both Value Box and Hobby Box format, with the Refractor cards falling six per Hobby box, meaning there’s a guarantee of six cards per box.
Boxes will only be available on-site at Fanatics Fest, taking place August 16-18 at New York City’s Javits Center. Buying an admission ticket isn’t a guarantee you’ll be able to buy a box, though, as quantities will be “limited,” according to Topps. VIP ticketholders will get first priority but still aren’t guaranteed a box.

Update 8/16: You can see them for sale and auction on eBay here.
Fanatics is billing the event as “home to the largest trading card show in recent New York City history, with over 300 of the industry’s leading dealers and brands.”
Appearances and discussions with star athletes and sports personalities are also part of the event.
