The jersey Stephen Curry wore during the championship-clinching Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals—where the Golden State Warriors secured their fourth title and Curry earned his first (and only) NBA Finals MVP—has sold privately for $2.45 million.
That’s a new record for any Curry jersey, surpassing the previous high of $1.758 million paid last summer at Sotheby’s for the jersey from his second career NBA game (when he hit his first 3-pointer).
MeiGray, which photo-matched and authenticated the jersey as the only one Curry wore that night, handled the private sale.
The jersey Curry wore in Game 1 of that series, when he connected on an Finals record six three-pointers, sold for $203,233 through NBA Auctions in July 2022.
