Focused primarily on vintage sports cards and memorabilia, the 2017 edition of the Ohio Sports Collector Show is set for April 21-23 in Strongsville.
The show will again be held at the Holiday Inn Select on Royalton Road. The 130 dealer tables are sold out with more than 50 dealers, grading and authentication companies and auction houses expected to attend.
Organized by Paul Fusco of Fusco Auctions, the show has roots going back to the 1970s and 80s when most referred to it simply as “Strongsville”. Fusco revived the dormant event several years ago.
Show hours are noon to 8 PM on Friday, 10-6 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday.
Show Admission is $5 per day with children under 12 free. Weekend passes for all three days are $10.00. Super Tickets are $15.00 which include admission to all three days plus VIP entry on Friday at 10:00 AM.
The show always brings in autograph guests with Ohio ties and this year’s event will feature perfect game pitcher Len Barker (Friday), Pro Football Hall of Fame member Dave Robinson (Saturday), Cleveland Browns favorite Reggie Langhorne (Saturday) and current Browns standout Joe Thomas (Saturday).
