The live finale for the annual Super Bowl Auction is set to take place this Saturday, just ahead of Sunday’s showdown between the Eagles and Chiefs.
Jerseys from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ “Steel Curtain” era, a game-worn Tom Brady jersey from 2012, a 2016 Super Bowl ring, gold jackets from some Pro Football Hall of Famers and hundreds of rare football pieces–some dating back to the 19th century–are being sold via Hunt Auctions.
Company President David Hunt offered a show and tell on WGNO-TV:
Bidding for the Brady jersey leads the way so far at more than $173,000.
Online bidding for the first 324 lots is open through Friday with a live auction finale at the Super Bowl Experience in downtown New Orleans. The remaining lots are sold online only, with bidding that runs through Saturday, February 8 at HuntAuctions.com.
