One of the hobby’s larger spring shows is back on schedule after getting knocked out by COVID in 2020 and ’21.
Mainline Autographs is hosting the Pittsburgh Area Spring Spectacular May 20-22 at the Monroeville Convention Center. The show traditionally takes place on the third weekend of May each year. The show’s fall event did take place last year.
The first jerseys to reach the market from this year’s NBA Playoffs are now up for auction.
A dozen game-worn and game-issued jerseys worn by the Utah Jazz during Game 1 of their Western Conference series against the Dallas Mavericks are now on the block.
The auction continues through May 5.

Game-used pucks and warmup jerseys from Claude Giroux’s 1,000th NHL game are on the auction block through MeiGray. The Philadelphia Flyers honored their second all-time leading scorer’s milestone by wearing special warmups and jerseys in the game against Nashville March 17.
The auction includes 22 warmup jerseys, seven goal pucks and three other game-used pucks.
Bidding ends May 5.
Aaron Gratias, who lost his lifelong collection of Wayne Gretzky cards and memorabilia when a storage container was broken into earlier this year, says he’s gotten tremendous support from the collecting community.
He talked with CBC News about offers to help as police continue to investigate the theft.
