The National Sports Collectors Convention has teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland to provide a child receiving medical treatment an opportunity to experience the hobby’s biggest event—and do some serious shopping.
The RMH will select a family who utilizes their facility and resources to experience what NSCC officials call an “opportunity of a lifetime.” The child and parents will each receive a VIP ticket package which includes a personal behind-the‑scenes tour of the show, meet and greets including photo-ops with superstar athletes and entertainers, limited exclusive trading cards, free autographs and a personal $3,500 shopping spree to purchase whatever they wish at the show, thanks to The Industry Summit, Beckett Media and HandBid Auctions.
The show is set for August 1-5 at the IX Center in Cleveland.
We are extremely excited the 39th National Sports Collectors Convention is partnering with the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland on this amazing experience,” said John Broggi, NSCC Show Promoter. “The opportunity to give back to the community and make a difference in a child’s life is extremely rewarding for the NSCC, our exhibitors and show attendees.”
“The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland is thrilled to team up with the National Sports Collectors Convention to offer a child and family this special VIP Experience,” said Craig Wilson, RMH Executive Director. “To broaden their support, the National has generously invited additional RMH families to attend the sports and entertainment show as their guests and will be conducting an auction on-site at the IX Center, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting our mission.”
