Portions of the 2010 NCAA Final Four court from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis are being made available for sale.
An assortment of 12 sizes and design options will be available throughout the year, from 6×6 inch squares to limited edition segments of the floor autographed by Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski and seniors Jon Scheyer, Lance Thomas and Brian Zoubek.
The Blue Devils won the title, holding off Butler in one of the most memorable championship games of all-time.
Victory Courts partnered with Duke Athletics and Blue Devil ISP Sports to create the commemorative pieces, which vary in size and price. The smallest sections measure about 6″x6″ and are 1 1/2″ thick.
“We are excited to bring Blue Devil fans across the country this incredible opportunity to forever own a real piece of Duke’s fourth national championship,” said Brady Miller, Director of New Business Development, Victory Courts. “Duke Athletics and Duke Basketball represent all things great about college athletics, and we thank Duke Athletics and Coach K for allowing us to work with them on this project.”
Victory Courts donated the center jump circle from the Lucas Oil Stadium floor to Duke, and will also being making a financial contribution to the Emily K Center, a downtown Durham community center named for Coach K’s late mother. The gym at the Emily K Center features the court from Minneapolis upon which Duke won the 2001 NCAA title.
