The first pro jersey worn by much anticipated 2019 NBA first round draft pick Zion Williamson sold at auction Thursday night for $17,520. The jersey was worn by Williamson during the New Orlans Pelicans’ 80-74 Las Vegas Summer League victory over the New York Knicks on July 5 at Thomas & Mack Center in Paradise, NV.
Over two dozen rookie jerseys from Summer League games were offered in the sale conducted by NBA Auctions including those from first round picks R.J. Barrett, Rui Hachimura, De’Andre Hunter, Jarrett Culver, Coby White and Tyler Herro.
Hachimura’s jersey was the second highest seller at $13,020 while Barrett’s brought $2,020.
As usual, the jerseys were registered into the NBA/ MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program.
