A young collector in Kansas is using his summer vacation to do some good in the world.
Parker Frederking, 10, received a box of sports cards after having surgery earlier this year. Now, he’s paying that back—and then some—with the help of his dad.
Garrett Frederking is involved in the foster care program in the Wichita area and through that, Parker has learned there are a lot of kids who come from unfortunate circumstances. Now, the duo has teamed up to send out over 100 packages of cards to those youngsters who might appreciate them. The packages have now gone out to all 50 states and Canada. Anonymous donors have helped out with shipping costs.

“It has been one small act of kindness which led to two, which led to four and each act has continued to pay it’s way forward and that’s been really, really amazing to see,” Garrett told KAKE-TV in Wichita. Take two minutes and watch their story here.
