The all-new 2010 Topps 206 series hit store shelves this week and features a base set made up completely of players who are not wearing caps.
The idea, according to Topps, was a tribute to the original 1909-1911 T206 cards which featured the classic images of players like Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Cy Young and, of course, Honus Wagner.
Each base card in the 2010 set includes a shot of the player with his hat off but Topps has again stirred the pot with variations.
The company said Wednesday that there are 50 short-printed variations picturing players with their cap on that can be found at a rate of one in every four packs.
