For the past two seasons, the New York Yankees have not sold their Jackie Robinson Day game-worn jerseys but they’re now in a special auction with proceeds going to the Jackie Robinson Foundation
The weeklong auction includes both the home versions from 2016 and road versions from 2015.
There are a total of 66 jerseys available from both years including the one Alex Rodriguez was wearing when he hit his 656th career home run. There are also 2015 and ’16 shirts from Carlos Beltran, Mark Teixeira, Brett Gardner, Didi Gregorius, Masahiro Tanaka, Jacoby Ellsbury, Dellin Bentances and others.
Minimum bids start at $100. You can see the listings here.
The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides college and graduate school scholarships as well as leadership development opportunities for students with limited financial resources.
