When Hurricane Ike headed for the Texas coast, Barney Rapp had his two prized possessions put up in about the safest place of all–and hoped for the best.
He’s the owner of some top notch vintage New York Yankees game-used items including jerseys worn by two Bronx favorites. They’ve been sitting in storage for awhile but the long-time collector has hauled them out for a special invitation from the Yanks.
“I’ve always wanted to display them," he said.
