Those who own shares in the Wilt Chamberlain rookie year uniform have voted to turn down the $3 million offer from an interested buyer. The vote was decisive with over 90 percent opting to turn down the offer.
The majority stake in the uniform is owned by Collectable shareholders with SCP Auctions’ David Kohler owning 25%.
Accepting the offer would have resulted in a 113.4% net return for shareholders, who obviously felt it was worth more in the wake of the recent $10.1 million sale of a 1997-98 Michael Jordan Finals jersey
The Chamberlain uniform will continue to trade on Collectable’s secondary market starting Thursday morning.
Topps created a few cards commemorating Aaron Judge’s 60th homer on Wednesday, including one numbered to 60 that sold out in just a few minutes at $200 each (a few quickly made their way to eBay).
An unnumbered version was also created for the usual $9.99 price. They also created a dual card featuring Judge and Babe Ruth, whose record he tied with his blast to the left field bleachers at Yankee Stadium Tuesday night.
Those two cards are available via the company’s website (sellers who bought in quantity are now offering them on eBay at a lower price).
After a 20-year hiatus, Starting Lineup figures are back.
As we reported earlier this year, Hasbro and Fanatics were partnering on a deal to bring back the sports action figures that were popular in the late 1980s and 90s. The new iteration won’t be your grandpa’s version, though. If early images of the first figure are any indication, these will actually look quite a bit like the player. They also come with a redemption code for a Panini NFT Trading Card of the athlete featured.

A group of NBA figures will be first to market, with the program kicking off Thursday. The figures are six inches tall and unlike the original, you can pose them via a few moving parts.
Series 1 includes LeBron James, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ja Morant, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic and others.
They’re available for $49.99 each via this page at Fanatics.
