Part of being a Topps’ spokesman is doing a lot of interviews. That job fell to Hank Aaron earlier this year. Hammerin’ Hank appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and did plenty of other guest spots on network and major market TV.
Now, it’s Joe Namath’s turn.
A few weeks back, we showed you his appearance on Letterman where he talked about popping out of bed to shoot the photo featured on his 1965 rookie card.
Recently, Broadway Joe did a little Q&A for ESPN’s The Life. He discussed the hospital photo in more detail and took some good-natured ribbing about his ‘unique’ 1973 card, where he’s bundled up in a stocking cap.
He also discussed what else might be hanging around the Namath home in the session with Jim Caple.
