Three of the hobby’s most famous and sought-after sports cards are up for grabs as Memory Lane closes out its "Holy Grail" auction.
Go on. Take back the socks and buy that collector you know and love a really nice Christmas gift. He’s worth it.
How about "the" card. A T206 Honus Wagner. Graded PSA 2, the card highlights Memory Lane’s current auction and passed the $250,000 mark in the few hours.
Meanwhile, the other major baseball card drawing attention is the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle graded PSA 9, from the John Branca collection. It’s drawn 91 bids and reached $221,000 in the wee hours of Friday morning.
By the way, a PSA 4 Mantle sold on eBay for $12,000 Wednesday, eclipsing most others in the same grade sold in recent months.
The third big ticket card being offered is the 1935 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski, now at $49,717 with 57 bids recorded. For final results, click here.
