They were more interested in seeing the Phillie Phanatic, but kids at a New Jersey elementary school may eventually warm up to a unique piece of baseball memorabilia housed in their hallowed halls.
The ball, freshly authenticated by JSA, is signed by members of Connie Mack’s ’27 Philadelphia A’s. It’s history is part of the reason why it has found its way back to the city of North Wildwood, New Jersey after shuffling around from place to place.
The school recently held a big party to honor a rare piece of baseball history that’ most of us would consider way more cool to look at than somebody’s third grade art project.
