The Minnesota Vikings are holding a garage sale.
The team says it’s planning to offer “over 40 years’ worth” of Vikings game jerseys, practice jerseys and equipment, locker room chairs, autographed photos and helmets, souvenirs and other memorabilia.
Over 5,000 items will be offered in the sale, which is being held in conjunction with their annual draft party from 6 PM to 11 PM at U.S. Bank Stadium on Thursday, April 26.
The team is calling it a “once in a lifetime” sale but hasn’t offered any specifics yet on which jerseys, players or seasons will be represented.
Collectors and fans will need a ticket to the party and sign up to be a member of the team’s Rewards program (free). Tickets to the party cost $20 and $15 for Rewards members. A note of caution: Those who purchased Red Zone tickets to the party, which come with perks including seating in the front rows and food, will get in an hour before everyone else. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Minnesota Vikings Foundation.
