"The Greatest Jerseys of All-Time" has just hit store shelves, with page after page of vintage NHL and international jerseys and sweaters staring back.
It’s a cool concept considering hockey jerseys have been around for decades. Their size has enabled designers to be creative over the years and the colors are like no other in sports.
The Hockey News’ senior editor and art director travelled to Toronto where they were aided by Hall of Fame staff and photographed dozens of jerseys for the magazine. The photo shoot reveals some artifacts that would make game-worn jersey collectors drool:
