NBA rookie Miles Bridges has signed an exclusive, multi-year memorabilia and collectibles contract with the Upper Deck Company.
The deal grants Upper Deck sole rights to produce Bridges-autographed memorabilia and collectibles. Some items are already online through the company’s online store. It’s only for memorabilia. He’ll still be able to appear in Panini’s basketball products.
Bridges was the 12th overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, taken by the Charlotte Hornets after a two-year career at Michigan State. He led the Spartans in scoring, becoming the first sophomore to average at least 17 points per game since 1992-93. Charlotte will open the 2018-19 season Wednesday night at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Bridges is a phenomenal player with a bright career ahead of him, and we’re pleased to provide authentic and innovative memorabilia to his growing base of loyal fans and supporters,” said Upper Deck President Jason Masherah.
The company also has exclusive memorabilia deals with LeBron James, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, Ben Simmons, Serena Williams and Connor McDavid, among others.
