The big fall show returns to Ontario this month, with Upper Deck offering some show-exclusive autographed cards of some of hockey’s biggest names.
Puckheads from across the world will descend upon Toronto next weekend for the NHL Fall Expo. Amid the dozens of tables featuring vintage hockey and other sports cards, Upper Deck is bringing back its “Priority Signings” wrapper-redemption program to the show.
Collectors who open a box of 2008-09 NHL Upper Deck Series One or 2008-09 NHL Artifacts at the Upper Deck booth will receive a random NHL “Priority Signings” autograph card. Upper Deck provides actual autograph cards of some of hockey’s best players for this show. Each card is sequentially numbered and limited to no more than 75 total copies.
The schedule for the wrapper redemption is listed below:
Friday, Nov. 14 – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 15 – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 16 – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
“Autograph cards are really what collectors want more than anything else so that’s why our ‘Priority Signings’ program continues to be such a major success at this show,” said Karvin Cheung, Upper Deck senior product manager. “Additionally, we will have the eagerly anticipated release of 2008-09 Upper Deck Series One Hockey arriving in hobby shops right before the show. Packs of that should be flying throughout the show as collectors look to get the first rookie cards of the season. If they open it up at the Upper Deck booth, they can also get a limited-edition ‘Priority Signings’ card.”
