Wow. Buckle your seatbelt. July continues to be a busy month for new sports card products. No matter what you collect, there’s probably box coming down the line.
Here’s a rundown of what’s arriving through July 23. Just click the links to read more about each product.
Baseball
2019 Topps Archives Signature Series (7/10) – Boxes contain a single, previously released Topps or Bowman card now signed by a current player. Each card will be numbered, carry a dated gold foil Archives Signature stamp and each is encased.
2019 Topps Diamond Icons (7/10) – Every card will be numbered to 25 or less. Nine of the ten cards in each one pack box carry autographs with two being auto relics. The other card will be a standard relic.
2019 Topps Allen & Ginter (7/17) – Ginter has three hits per 24-pack box, but it’s more of a set builder’s product with a lot of quirky subjects. Each pack will have seven cards and one mini. Once again, look for a 350 card base set, with 50 of those being short prints.
2019 Donruss Optic (7/17) – Sort of a shiny version of the regular Donruss set, Optic has 20 packs per box with four cards per pack. Each box will have two autographs, 12 inserts and ten Prizms.
Football
2019 Panini Gold Standard (7/10) – Back for another year, Gold Standard is a one pack product with five hits per box and a sizeable base set.
2019 Panini Elements (7/19) – Elements delivers one on-card Metal Autograph, one Acetate Autograph, one memorabilia card and one Metal Base card per box.
Basketball
2018-19 Panini Opulence NBA – The high-end release returns at about $1,000 per box. Look for Rookie Patch Autograph Booklets, including Nameplates, Brand Logo and Sponsor Logos, and NBA Finals Booklets, including Brand Logos, Sponsor Logos, and the NBA Finals Logoman.
Hockey
2018-19 Upper Deck Chronology – Chronology will contain four cards per hobby box, and Upper Deck is promising that an average box break will have one base card or a 0° Celsius card, a guaranteed autograph card and two cards that will either autograph or chase cards. Base set cards will be numbered to 222.
