Making a big play in the Super Bowl used to get you a pat on the butt. Now, it’s apparently worth a six-figure autograph contract.
David Tyree isn’t the first name that would have rolled off your tongue when someone mentioned New York Giants players prior to Super Bowl XLII.
That changed in the span of about twelve seconds last Sunday.
Tyree’s remarkable grab that earned the Giants a critical first down on their game-winning drive has been immortalized already in photographs and on videotape.
He’s not Eli Manning in terms of endorsement deals…yet…but CNBC reports Tyree has a couple of companies waving money at him to become his exclusive rep for autographs. Tyree cards and memorabilia are also doing well on eBay.
