Items from two long-time single-owner vintage card collections are on the block this month as Hunt Auctions conducts its Premier Live Internet Auction.
The dating for both collections ranges from the 1900s to 1970s and were each assembled over a 40-year period. Complete sets, star and rookie cards and rarities from the pre-War era are included. In addition to Topps, Bowman and Goudey, the catalog includes T206, T202, T3, Sporting Life, Exhibit, Cracker Jack and caramel cards.

In addition to vintage trading cards, the March Premier event will include another offering from avid collector Bob Crotty’s Green Diamond Gallery.
The Hall of Fame autographed display pieces were one of the more revered and impressive components within the Green Diamond Gallery as displayed in Montgomery, Ohio for many years. It is comprised of an expansive selection of Hall of Fame autographs dating from the late 19th century to present including numerous rarities with special note to their signature mediums. Each autograph is either matted and framed within custom made Hall of Fame display or includes framed display with the separated item.

The auction will also include installments from several ongoing collections of historic baseball photography. Notable original images include 1951 Willie Mays photograph as used for his 1952 Topps card ($20,000-$40,000) and a Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig oversized photograph by Louis Van Oeyen estimated at $25,000-$50,000.
