TV Reporter Helps Collector With Topps Redemption

Redemption fulfillment times have been a problem for Topps over the last several years.  Past and present players who are slow to sign their agreed upon allotment of cards cause havoc on the company—and on collectors.

However, sometimes the wait is for something that once belonged to a player who is, well, dead.

A New York collector was pretty excited to find a redemption card for a Joe DiMaggio bat relic but after waiting months and not getting his card—nor, he says, any help with the matter—he reached out to ‘Help Me Howard’, a segment on WPIX News.
