Two burglars smashed through the front door of a northern California hobby shop early Monday morning, stealing thousands of dollars worth of unopened boxes.
Store manager Tim Shepler says it happened around 3:10 AM PDT Monday. Police in the small community near Sacramento arrived within three minutes but the burglars had already left the scene.
The video shows two people in dark hoodies breaking open the front door to True Sports Cards in Rocklin, then rummaging through product that had been sitting on shelves inside the store.
Shepler and his family were in Southern California at the time, having operated the company’s booth at the Burbank Card Show. They quickly drove home after their alarm company notified them of the front door breach.
Shepler says over $15,000 worth of boxes were taken.
The crime was caught on video and you can see it via the story below from KCRA-TV.
