The much discussed 2020-21 Panini Flawless Triple Logoman LeBron James is on its way to market. Goldin revealed Monday that the card will be part of its June Elite Auction. It’s expected to sell for a strong seven-figure price tag.
The card was pulled last month during a livestream box break and has been labeled Authentic by PSA. The card had been the subject of a nearly year-long hunt that even included rapper and collector Drake buying ten cases in an unsuccessful effort to land it.
The card features three NBA logo patches taken from jerseys worn by James and images of him with the three teams he’s played for: the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and LA Lakers. The back is printed in gold script and has the logos of the three teams.
Panini created five Triple Logoman cards as part of its 2020-21 “Flawless” collection. However, the company only created one card featuring patches from a single player.
Goldin Founder Ken Goldin calls it “the undisputed holy grail of modern cards.”
The company will have it on display during a media event Tuesday afternoon in New York and is already featuring the card in a huge ad in Times Square.
Bidding will open June 8 on Goldin’s website.
