The Topps Company has reached a multi-year agreement that extends its global partnership with WWE for licensed trading cards. Topps has featured WWE Superstars since 2005.
“We’re excited to see how far we can push the WWE license to bring new and exciting products to fans around the world,” said Topps General Manager and Vice President David Leiner.
Specific terms and the length of the contract weren’t revealed.
With various product lines released throughout the year, Topps has highlighted multiple WWE eras through Topps Legends of WWE, which includes autographs of former stars; Women’s Division, highlighting current and past female wrestlers; and Undisputed, a high-end autographed set. With the extended agreement, WWE moments and new stars will be featured on new cards through the Topps NOW platform.
“Topps is a proven innovator across multiple product lines and valued long-term partner,” said Brian Flinn, WWE Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. “Our extended partnership with Topps will enable us to further reimagine the trading card experience and deliver unique ways for our fans to connect with their favorite WWE Superstars.”
