Topps Heritage Chrome Mega Boxes are on the market, giving a shiny look to the newly-released product– but there’s only one place to get them.
The 2019 Mega Boxes are being sold at Walmart.com and in stores. They include 15 regular 2019 Heritage packs plus a three-card bonus pack featuring the new Heritage Chrome cards. In all, there are 100 new players not featured in the primary set. The Mega Box Chrome cards will also have parallel versions including Refractor, Black Refractor and Superfractor.
Exclusive relic cards not found in regular hobby and retail boxes are also part of the checklist. Those memorabilia cards include Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Aaron Judge, Alex Bregman, Shohei Ohtani and other stars. Collectors can tell the difference between relic cards from hobby/retail and Mega Box by the prefix on the back of the cards. Topps says those found in the 2019 Topps Heritage Baseball Mega Box will use the prefix “ECCR-“.
