The 2018 edition of a holiday-oriented hobby shop incentive program is back. Collectors who visit participating stores beginning November 16 can pick up a free pack of 2018 Topps Holiday baseball cards with the purchase of at least $10 worth of the company’s current products.
In announcing the program to hobby shops and distributors, Topps stated that 2018 “has been one of the best years for baseball card sales in company history.” They’re distributing packs to shop owners at no charge.
The packs will feature cards that are holiday-themed parallels of players featured in 2018 Bowman issues including some of this year’s rookies and top young players. You can see some sample images below.
Packs will have three cards with low-numbered parallels and autographed cards randomly inserted. There are 100 cards in the base set (checklist below).

Each card will have a 2018 Topps Holiday logo.
The parallel cards will include:
– Green Festive, numbered to 99
– White Snow, numbered to 50
– Turkey, numbered to 35
– Red Festive, numbered to 10
– Gold Festive, numbered to 1
The autographed cards will also have Turkey and Gold Festive parallels.
Topps will be pushing shops to promote the contest on their social media channels—and they’re also telling shop owners who receive the packs not to sell them on the secondary market or they’ll be kicked out of future promotions.
