School’s out—at least we hope your youngsters have finally been freed for the summer—and local card shops want to see those report cards. Bring them in and participating shops will hand over a special five-card pack from the 2019 Topps of the Class set.
Topps announced last year it was bringing the program back after a lengthy hiatus. It’s a totally free promotion—no purchase is required to snare the silver foil pack.

The Topps of the Class checklist is now final and includes 100 rookies and veterans and a 25-card set of Topps “Greats” gold-colored inserts, each numbered to 299 (see below).
The cards look similar to this year’s Big League set with different photos and numbering. There’s a slogan on the back stating “Work Hard in School, Get Great Cards.”
Shops are already seeing some traffic from the program and have added kid-oriented programs of their own.

The program should be in place through June or as long as your shop’s packs last. Of course, some cards have made their way to eBay and you can get a look at them here.
