Topps NOW has been named one of NY Sports Journalism’s Top 10 Sports Marketers of the Year.
The on-demand trading card platform launched in 2017 allows collectors and fans to order sports cards that commemorate milestones and moments. The cards are created, sold and delivered in a short period of time. NOW cards are offered online for 24 hours and Topps also offers autograph and relic versions.
NYSJ says its’ criteria for the award includes “Determination. Perseverance. Creativity. And sometimes the strength to follow a path and plan that improves not only your position but helps and supports the situation of others.”
Over 300,000 Topps NOW baseball cards were sold last season.
Online voting at PollCode.com from now through February 28 will determine the Grand Marketer of the Year winner. Past winners include Stand Up to Cancer with MLB and MasterCard (2013), The ALS Assn. (2014), Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles (2015) and the American Cancer Society (2016).
