Topps NOW has returned for 2017 and the company has produced a slew of cards after the Chicago Cubs rain-delayed home opener Monday night. The cards include shots of the team carrying the 2016 World Series trophy, the championship banner flying above Wrigley Field and the moment Anthony Rizzo drove home the game-winning run well after midnight.
There were some relic and autographed versions available beyond the print-on-demand singles that sell for $9.99 (less in quantity) but if you didn’t act quickly, they were gone.
Rizzo signed cards started at $129.99 with lower serial numbered versions costing more but all sold out within about an hour of being listed on the company’s website. The relic cards, priced from $99.99 to $1,499.99 contained a piece of one of the bases from the 3-2 win over the Dodgers. Those, too, sold out quickly.
The base cards are print-to-order and will be available until early Wednesday via this link.
If you miss out, you can find some listed on eBay.
