Topps has kept collectors guessing for a few months but the cat is now out of the bag on the identity of the 2018 Bowman Lucky Redemption card.
The annual mystery autograph card that will be handed out to those who pulled a winning redemption from Bowman boxes features Yankees rookie second baseman Gleyber Torres. The signed cards will be on their way to collectors who submitted their redemption code via the Topps website.
The 21-year-old from Venezuela had 23 homers, 73 RBI and a .276 batting average heading into Tuesday night’s game.
Only 99 Torres Lucky Redemption cards were created for 2018 Bowman, which was released back on April 25. The few that have been offered on eBay over the last few months have generally sold for $500-$600.
