For the second straight year, the Topps Company has been named one of NY Sports Journalism’s Top Ten Sports Marketers of the Year, this time for its Living Set project.
Introduced as a never-ending homage to players past and present, Living Set cards created by a an artist in the style of the 1953 Topps set and are released on a weekly basis through the company’s website. Collectors can purchase a single card or a “bundle” of that week’s three newest additions.

Topps also made 2017’s top ten list for its NOW cards.
NY Sports Journalism selected ten finalists for the “2018 Grand Marketer of the Year” award for “their initiatives, skills, determination and strength,” according to Barry Janoff, the website’s executive editor. The other nine finalists include:

- Milwaukee Bucks
- PGA Tour
- Puma
- Sports Betting: Category
- Springhill Entertainment: LeBron James
- State Farm
Voting to select a winning entity is open at NYSportsJournalism.com and POLLCODE.com through Feb.17. The Grand Sports Marketer of the Year is expected to be named the week of Feb. 25.
