Topps introduced a pair of on-demand issues on Tuesday.
They’re pushing out a Muhammad Ali set entitled “The People’s Champ.” It won’t be in traditional hobby box or set format, though. The cards are being released on a weekly basis with two offered every Tuesday.
Topps calls it “a retrospect of the man considered the greatest of all time.” The cards will chronicle Ali’s life and career.
Parallels of each card randomly inserted into each print run include those numbered to 56 (for the number of fights Ali won in his career); 10 (Red); 5 (Silver) and 1/1 Yellow-Gold parallels.
The Ali cards are $9.99 each or a bundle of two for $17.49 but can be had for as little as $3.50 in quantity.
Topps is also offering NHL stickers again this year on its NOW platform. A new group of nine will be available every Thursday during the season and sold for one week. They’ll feature highlights and milestones.
The packs are $7.99 on Topps’ website (cheaper in quantity). Gold parallel stickers will be found in every ten packs.
The NOW stickers are in addition to the regular 2020-21 Topps NHL sticker boxes that carry 50 packs for $50 and can be put into an album.
