Last spring, Topps promised changes to its Heritage Minors product, lowering the price–but cutting the autograph content from two cards to one.
Like the flagship Heritage set, Minors was designed around the 1967 Topps set, right down to the head shot stickers (although the 2016 version turned them into cards). The set features some of the better prospects in the pipeline, some of whom have already made their big league debuts.
Each box still contains one autograph and one relic. In addition to this season’s minor league hotshots like Alex Bregman, there are randomly inserted autographs of a few players who are pictured in their pre-big league uniforms like Mike Trout and Bryce Harper, but you’ll have to be exceptionally lucky to land one.
