Topps’ first-ever Heritage High Number boxed set is scheduled for release on Thursday.
The set, announced by the company earlier this summer, will consist of 100 cards, numbered H501-H600, thus extending the regular set and short print grouping issued last spring. The set is priced at $99.99 and will only be available through the Topps online store, continuing a move toward online exclusive products that has included various
Topps Mini sets.
Each 2013 Heritage High Number box will also contain one autograph card with randomly inserted Red Ink autographs numbered to ten.
The set will include rookies and other players who weren’t included in the 2013 Topps Heritage release including Dodgers’ phenom Yasiel Puig.
There are autographed cards of several players including: Puig, Hyun-Jun Ryu, Manny Machado, Jurickson Profar, Jose Fernandez, Gerrit Cole and others. However, Puig, Ryu, Cole, Fernandez, Nolan Arenado, Nick Franklin and Anthony Rendon will be redemptions.
See some of the cards that are in the set in the gallery below and the complete checklist. While the factory sets of 2012 Topps Heritage High Numbers were still available on the Topps website as of November 25, you can check what’s come to ebay here.
