Lauren Taylor is no stranger to baseball fans. She’s been producing license baseball art for a while now and was also among the artists who created cards for Topps Project 2020. Now, there’s a baseball card set that’s all her own.
The Topps X Lauren Taylor Collection debuted Tuesday with single packs and boxes being sold online. Twenty new cards will be released each week. Packs hold five cards and one parallel or insert card.
“In the 90’s, I spent most money I would earn on Topps baseball card packs looking for any Ken Griffey Jr. or Mariners of any kind as I grew up in the Seattle area,” Taylor stated. “I never thought in any lifetime that I would be releasing my own box set for others to open and search for their favorite players. I am grateful beyond words – the idea that my cards could end up in collections around the world is so incredibly special.”
The checklist will be a mix of rookies, stars and former greats, with Oneil Cruz and Yogi Berra among the names in the first of weekly series or “waves” to be distributed over the summer.

Packs and boxes are available for one week before the next wave is released.
Packs are priced at $20 each with boxes available for $95, both via this page on Topps’ website, which also has the checklist and full details.
Parallels and additional content include:
Rainbow foil parallels sequentially numbered to /199, /99, /75, /49, /25, /10, /5 and 1/1
• Lava Foil Parallel chase cards (1:3.75 packs)
• Lauren Taylor self-portrait chase card (1:10 packs)
• Lauren Taylor self-portrait autograph card (1:60)
Autographed cards were also available for several players in Wave 1, but those are serial numbered and being sold separately at various prices. Cruz, Julio Rodriguez and Mike Trout autographs were quick sellouts. Bryce Harper and Fernando Tatis autographs were also offered.
