Last Sunday may not have been his finest hour, but Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew has already made the 2019 NFL season a lot more fun. Now, the rookie quarterback with the throwback look is being immortalized with a pair of new bobbleheads.
FOCO is producing two different, full-sized bobbles because, well, you can’t properly capture his essence in just one.
The first one has the flavor of Minshew’s alma mater, Washington State. It portrays him in the famous bright red suit he once donned, complete with Washington State logo, partially unbuttoned silver shirt and sunglasses. There’s a college stadium backdrop and he’s shown carrying a duffle bag, because he was always ‘carrying the team.”
The second captures his Uncle Rico look (that’s a Napoleon Dynamtic reference if you’re out of the loop). And if you’re familiar with the movie, the footballs and the mountain backdrop just had to be a part of it.
Minshew and Jon Gries, the actor who played Napoleon’s uncle in the film, actually met as part of a commercial shoot in Jacksonville last week.
