While you were probably asleep in the wee hours of Sunday morning, giant machines and the people who run them at a Wisconsin print shop were working overtime. There was no time to waste. The teams were set. Demand is always high. The Super Bowl LII program could now be produced.
One of the most popular pieces of Super Bowl memorabilia, the program is bigger than a lot of phone books. Produced by H.O. Zimman under the guidance of the league, this year’s edition is 288 pages and again comes with more than one variation. There’s the national edition sold across the country and the stadium version that’s almost identical but has a holographic cover.
This year’s program features the Eagles and Patriots logos on the front along with an image of the Lombardi Trophy and the outline of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, which is hosting the game.
Inside their are rosters, scouting reports on both teams, an in-depth review of the 2017 NFL season, year-by-year Super Bowl recaps, pictures taken by some of the best photographers in the country and at least a dozen feature stories from top NFL writers. Among them: players who went from being undrafted to becoming unforgettable once playing in the Super Bowl; a comparison of the great 49ers and Patriots Super Bowl dynasties; a dive into some of the most sensational, but overlooked, Super Bowl defensive efforts; and a look at some of the most memorable game-saving plays in the history of the game since its inception in 1967.
Prices start at around $20. You can order here.
