The jersey worn by Steph Curry earlier this month when he set the record for most career playoff three pointers is on the auction block.
NBA Auctions is offering the Size 46 jersey, worn during the Golden State Warriors’ 121-104 Round 1, Game 1 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on April 13 in Oakland. As of Tuesday, bidding had surpassed $14,000 with 17 days left in the auction.
Curry made eight 3-pointers in the game to give him 386 for his career. He played 36 minutes and registered a game-high 38 points, the 31st time in his career he had scored 30 or more in a playoff game. Not only did Curry set the all-time post-season record for long distance shooting, he also grabbed a career high 15 rebounds in the game.
The white jersey is registered into the NBA and MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program. A serial number is attached and the date “4.13.19” is handwritten on the laundry tag.
First round playoff jerseys worn by Curry’s Warriors teammates including Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson are also being sold.
Bidding will close May 9 on the NBA Auctions website.
