Steiner Sports has promoted Sean Mahoney to Executive Vice President of Sales.
In this role Mahoney will be responsible for overseeing the overall sales operations of Steiner Sports, inclusive of ecommerce and all auction initiatives.

Previously as Vice President, Mahoney was the lead manager in Steiner Sports’ wholesale division, where the company says over the course of 10 years he helped get Steiner products into major retailers including Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, eBay, Amazon, and Groupon among others. Mahoney, who started working for Steiner Sports as an intern in 1995, has also worked in the athlete signings and team partnership divisions.
“Sean has been a key asset to this company for over two decades and has been integral to the development of the Steiner Sports brand,” said CEO Brandon Steiner. “At Steiner Sports, we are proponents of creating a career-oriented culture. I have known Sean since he started with the company as a college intern and seeing his growth into a highly-respected industry expert is a true testament to his commitment and passion for this business.”
Mahoney’s promotion, which takes immediate effect, comes in conjunction with a busy month for Steiner Sports, where the company established a licensing partnership with the Yogi Berra family, signed Villanova Basketball head coach and national champion Jay Wright to an exclusive autograph contract and launched the Yankees Dynasty Collection, a new product line to commemorate the 1996, ’98, ’99 and 2000 World Series victories for the New York Yankees.
