Mile High Card Company’s first Extra Innings Auction of 2023 got underway Monday with over 700 items on the block. Held between the company’s major catalog events, the Extra Innings sales typically include lower cost items, with an emphasis on vintage material.
The auction offers hundreds of star cards, highlighted by l a pair of lower grade Hank Aaron rookies, a 1948 Leaf Babe Ruth, an SGC 7 Roger Maris 1958 Topps rookie card, a PSA 5 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter Clarkson and a PSA 4 Mulvey, three 1958 Topps Mickey Mantle cards, an SGC 7.5 1968 Topps Nolan Ryan rookie and a 2018 Panini Absolute Tools Of The Trade Dual Material Autograph Tom Brady (#7/10).
Complete sets on the block include 1965 Topps Baseball and 1965 and ’66 Philadelphia Football and a 1973-74 Topps Basketball set with over 3,700 extras.
Featured memorabilia items include two 1960s AFL balls and a Type 1 Joe DiMaggio-Babe Ruth photo.

The date for the 2023 Strongsville Sports Collectors Convention has been set.
The show will take place April 14-16 at the Best Western in Strongsville, located near Cleveland.
The vintage oriented show’s origins date back to 1978.

A new monthly sports card show is set for Reading, PA with all proceeds to benefit a longtime local baseball team.
The next edition of the show is on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Owls Sports Club. All proceeds, including the $5 admission fee go back into the summer baseball program for upkeep of the field, facilities, equipment, uniforms and other expenses.
