The 2019 calendar year is winding to a close but collectors will still have some options for holiday ripping. Several new products will arrive by New Year’s Eve with none of the major sports left out.
Here’s a look:
12/11/19
2019/20 Upper Deck Buybacks Hockey
Not a totally new concept but back for the first time in a while at Upper Deck, 2019-20 Buyback boxes will include two cards: a previously released card Upper Deck repurchased on the secondary market (placed in a sealed one-touch holder) and a single low-numbered card from a new set that will include 50 cards, all serial numbered to 199 or less (parallels are Gold #50; Emerald # to 25 and 1/1 Purple).
You could also pull a special draft pick redemption card.
2019/20 Panini Prizm Fast Break NBA
Yes, this will be a “faster break” option for those who are into Prizm. Less content at a lesser price than the standard hobby boxes. Fast Break will include 18 packs of five cards with one autograph and 12 Prizms. Boxes have been selling online for $150-$160.

2019-20 Donruss Basketball
Among the less expensive brands, Donruss returns with ten packs per box and a whopping 30 cards per pack. You’ll find one autograph, one memorabilia card and 60 inserts and parallels. New in 2019-20 – Rated Rookie Signatures which feature 47 of the NBA’s top incoming rookies.

2018 Bowman’s Best Baseball
There will be two six-pack mini boxes per master box and each master box of Bowman’s Best. Each master box should have four on-card autographs and 12 Refractors. This year’s MLB Draft picks join rookies and veterans on the checklist.
Boxes are available on eBay with prices pretty varied right now.
2019-20 Upper Deck Synergy Hockey
Eight packs with three cards in each are what you’ll find in Synergy. Upper Deck is promising ” a deep checklist of
legend, veteran & rookie autographs, including the prized Purple parallels of each.”
Autos will fall only three per case. There’s a bounty program associated with Synergy as well.
2019-20 Panini Origins Basketball
Origins makes its NBA debut with this product as Zionmania continues. Each one-pack box should have one on-card Rookie Jersey Autograph along with another auto or memorabilia card and two parallels.
Boxes are running about $200 right now.

2019 Donruss Optic Football
This should be one of the year’s bigger football releases. Optic boxes will carry 20 packs with four cards in each. On-card Rated Rookie autographs are among the draws.

Box prices are sliding between $130 and $150.
