Collectors of modern hockey cards have spent the last few days ripping into boxes of 2019-20 Upper Deck Series 1 while those who prefer high end hoops are now chasing the 2018-19 brand of Panini Flawless basketball. That’s just the start of a very busy month for new releases. Here’s a look at some of what’s about to hit the market.
2019-20 Panini Certified Basketball 11/13
Certified makes its return to basketball this year. The big attractions will be on-card autographs from the 2019 draft picks in Rookie Roll Call. Each box will have one Freshman Fabric Signature and one other autographed card.
Hall of Famers aren’t forgotten with the new Ballot Busters autograph set and Legendary Signatures.
2019-20 Flawless Collegiate Basketball 11/17
College-themed cards of this year’s draft picks are at the heart of Collegiate but there are also some past greats who are pictured in their college uniforms and have signed for the product including Bill Russell and Jerry West.
Each box will contain six autographs, two additional Auto/Memorabilia cards, and two Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, or Emerald Base/Parallel gem cards. All autographs in Flawless are numbered to 25 or less.
2019 Topps High Tek Baseball 11/13
High Tek base cards feature the top veterans, rookies, and retired greats in three different card designs, with multiple pattern variations and color parallels.
This year, each box will have three packs of six cards with one autographed card in every pack along with three base cards and two base parallels.
2019 Panini Immaculate NFL 11/15
It’s the fifth anniversary for Immaculate, which was born as a basketball brand. As usual, it’s a one pack per box product, with six boxes per case. Each pack will have six cards including five autograph or memorabilia cards and one base or base parallel.
Rookie Patch Autographs are the focal point of Immaculate with all numbered to 99 or less but look for veterans and some special cards featuring NFL legends.
2019 Panini Playbook NFL 11/20
An all-hits product, Playbook is back for 2019 with a single four-card pack in each box, including a booklet. There’s an on-card Rookie Playbook Jersey Autograph in three out of every four boxes, with each numbered to 249 or less.
Also set for release in the coming days: 2019-20 Topps NHL Stickers, 2019 Panini Flawless Baseball, 2019 Panini Prime Racing and 2019 UFC Museum.
