2019-20 Panini Immaculate Basketball
It’s been a crazy year for the NBA and it’s not over yet from a trading card perspective, with 2019-20 branded products arriving at a time when we’d normally be into a new season. Immaculate is one of the higher end released of the year, featuring thick, glossy cards with a focus on autographs and relics.
Packed in tins, Immaculate offers a single pack of six cards, typically consisting of three autos, a pair of memorabilia cards and one numbered base card. Online pricing is around $2,000.
Rookie Patch Autographs will be done on cards with an acetate finish. Game-worn dual logoman patches make their debut appearance.
2020-21 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey
No games in the NHL for awhile either, but next season’s hockey cards are hitting the market.
Series 1 is a virtual national holiday in Canada, with the flagship product from Upper Deck set to include top draft pick Alexis Lafreniere on the Young Guns checklist.
Each hobby box of Series 1 will once again contain 24 packs with eight cards per pack. On average, each box will include six Young Guns cards. Retail and blaster boxes are already for sale online.

New in 2020: Look for Impeccable Nickname Autographs and Super Bowl Champion Signatures.
Silver and gold cards, embedded with 1 ounce silver or 1/2 ounce gold bars, are case hits.
Boxes can be had online for around $800.
2019-20 Panini One and One Basketball
One and One makes its debut for basketball, getting its name from the configuration, which is one auto and one base card, parallel or insert in each box. Each card is slabbed in a one-touch case.
Look for Rookie Jersey Autographs with various levels of memorabilia, numbered to as low as 1.
The lowest price for a box is around $600.
2020 Topps Chrome Black
Making its debut, Chrome Black will be a one pack per box product, with 12 boxes per case. Each box/pack will have four cards: an encased autograph, two base cards and a numbered Refractor parallel.
Topps says the card stock is a “new tech mixture of black matte & chrome.”
Boxes are running $200-$240 in online pre-sales.
