Some late arriving products from the 2023-24 NBA season, a big baseball release and a new football brand are scheduled to make their appearances as summer winds down.
Here’s a look at what you’ll see arriving at your local hobby shop, online retailer or in your favorite breaker’s stream.

2024 Topps Pro Debut Baseball
Pro Debut has become a stalwart on the baseball calendar, focusing on minor league players. Topps is promising “an expanded selection of Chrome cards” with this year’s release. Pro Debut carries a 200-card base set.
Among the more interesting insert sets is ‘Road to the Show’ which has images of the player’s minor league and (maybe) future big league home field.
There are two formats being offered: Hobby boxes with 24 cards and eight cards per pack with four autographs per box and Jumbo boxes with six 24-card packs and three autographs. Hobby boxes are currently available for just over $100. You can check current pricing here.

2024 Bowman Chrome Baseball
Speaking of minor leaguers…
2024 Bowman Chrome Hobby boxes contain two mini boxes (packs) with six packs of five cards in each mini box. There will be one autograph per mini box.
Chrome Prospect Autographs the big draw, with about 150 prospects signing for Topps. Bowman Chrome autos often come the most valuable baseball cards of a player’s career, especially the lower numbered parallel versions.

2023-24 Panini Spectra
Spectra returns with its usual array of shiny color.
Boxes offer five cards with four packs per box and of those 20 cards, four will carry signatures and two will have memorabilia. Color Blast and the new ‘Full Capacity’ inserts will also be among the chases.
There’s also a First Off the Line variation with exclusive content.

2024 Panini Gold Standard (now delayed until 9/18)
Gold Standard makes its annual return as an early season release with a single, seven-card pack in each box. Look for five autograph or memorabilia cards in each box.

2023 Topps Motif Football
Not long after it jumped back into NFL releases with Composite, Fantics/Topps will drop its first high-end football release since losing its license in 2015. Again, it’ll be a mix of former players and the 2023 rookies who are under contract with Fanatics like CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young and Will Levis. The design will be art-inspired.
Boxes will hold a single, eight-card pack with six autographs, a base card and base parallel. Stay tuned for pricing.
2023 Topps Motif Football Checklist
2023-24 Panini Impeccable Basketball (now delayed until 9/18)
This one was originally slated to arrive last spring but finally makes its way to market just ahead of the 2024-25 season.
A high-end brand, 2023-24 Impeccable boxes offer a single, nine-card pack with five autographs.
In addition to its trademark Rookie Jersey Autographs, look for Game Day Logoman, which cards will include the red, white and blue NBA logos used on a uniform during a specific game.
Boxes are available for around $2,800.
